Working with Fondu is always a pleasure and this project was my favorite of our collaborations. I was not only Production Designer, but also Food Stylist with my favorite business partner, Ria Manghani. I was able to learn so much about the food we decided to feature. My local H Mart and 99 Ranch saw a lot of me during this period. I also included many different placemats to help show the difference in days over the course of this ad. I probably would have ended up with that idea regardless, but I can thank my thought process to my work on the CBS Morning show because of how often we work with placemats. The most fun part of this shoot day was trying to perfectly match the placings of the placemats for each setup. And the chopsticks I used in the final shot of the father are my parents' from before I was even born!!
