The bedroom scene in this movie is something I remain proud of. This bedroom was bare bones when I entered. The table was on the other side and there was a large TV on the right wall. I wasn't able to see the location before the day of shooting, so I brought everything I could think of to make this girl's bedroom more personal. I also designed the tie-dye guitar poster on procreate and had it printed at staples. The room had a much cozier feel after I was done with it.
Special note: The decorative blanket on the edge of the bed was made for me by my grandmother and I've tried to put it in as many films as possible- it doesn't usually make the cut. I'm so grateful to Director Amanda for letting me add a personal touch to her story.
We were able to use an office meeting room as our therapist's office, which luckily had a plethora of chair styles for me to pick from. I picked out some therapist office decor to put on the wall and on a small table I thought appropriate for the scene. I also picked out a lamp because therapists always have a lamp.
