I was asked to replace the previous production designer on this project just a few days before production started. Luckily, my predecessor was a close personal friend so he was able to forward me all of the information and I had easy communication about the assignments. My favorite part about this project was the hundreds of dollars in fake money that I had to acquire. When the project was handed over to me, there was a link to some fake money that just didn't cut it for me, so instead I went with the real fake motion picture bills. I think they look fantastic and I will be using that same vendor in the future. Another highlight was the dinner scene. The director, Joe Benedetto, told me that I had free reign in choosing what the food was for the scene. All he requested was red wine. So I thought, the perfect thing for red wine is pasta. Only, I didn't want any tomato sauce to be involved because if there isn't any accidents with the "red wine" i don't want to risk anything with the pasta sauce. So I chose bowtie pasta with olive oil and garlic- and I am not a chef. I am very lucky that it came out edible, and the actresses seemed to like it!
